    When you buy goods or services from or otherwise interact with us, we, Gaiup ApS ("Gaiup", "us", "we", "our"), register and process personal data about you, including in your capacity as contact person for the company in which you are employed]. We are therefore the data controller, and we have the following contact information:

    Below you can read about how we - in accordance with the applicable legislation at all times, e.g. the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") - collect and process your personal data when you:

    • visiting our website
    • gets in touch with us
    • buys a service and/or creates a subscription with us
    • sign up for our newsletter or an event

    In addition, you can read about how we share your information, what rights you have and how you can contact us if you have questions or comments about our processing of your personal data.

    When you contact us

    As we are basically a B2B company, the following information is processed when you contact us:

    • contact information for you as a contact person for the company in which you are employed, including, for example, your name, title, e-mail and telephone number.

    If you are a private individual, the following is processed:

    • contact information, such as name, address, email address, telephone number.

    The purpose of the processing is to answer your inquiry and serve you in the best possible way. The processing takes place on the basis of these legitimate interests (GDPR art. 6, subsection 1, letter f).

    As a starting point, we store the information for up to 2 years after your inquiry has been answered, after which we delete it.

    When you buy a service and/or create a subscription

    When you purchase services from us and/or create a subscription, you will be asked to provide certain information such as:

    • contact information for you as a contact person for the company in which you are employed, including, for example, your name, title, e-mail and telephone number.

    If you are a private individual, the following is processed:

    • contact information, such as name, address, email address, telephone number.
    • if you pay directly on the Website, we also collect payment information, including e.g. credit card number.

    The purpose of the processing is that we can fulfill our part of the agreement that your company or you enter into with us, including, for example, confirming and delivering the purchase, collecting payment, providing customer service, etc. e.g. in connection with complaints, credit etc. We therefore process the personal data on the basis of our duty to fulfill a contract (GDPR art. 6, subsection 1, letter b).

    In addition, we process information about the purchase(s) in order to comply with legal requirements for e.g. accounting and bookkeeping. This is based on our duty to comply with a legal obligation (GDPR art. 6, subsection 1, letter c).

    We also process information about the purchase(s) in order to be able to market our own similar products as well as send offers to you. The background for the processing is both our legitimate interest in being able to market ourselves (GDPR art. 6, paragraph 1, letter f) as well as consent (art. 6, paragraph 1, letter a) to the extent that consent is required by law.

    As a general rule, we store information about your purchases for 5 years after the end of the year in which the purchase was completed, after which we delete it.

    When you sign up for our newsletter

    When you sign up for our newsletter, we process

    • e-mail address and any other contact information etc.

    We process your information on the basis of the consent (GDPR art. 6, subsection 1, letter a) that you give when registering for our newsletters. You can always revoke your consent by writing an e-mail to support@realtimelca.com or unsubscribe directly in one of the newsletters.

    We generally store the information until you have withdrawn your consent, after which we delete it.

    Recipients of your personal data and disclosure to third parties

    We treat your information confidentially and do not, as a rule, pass on your personal data to third parties without your consent, unless we are obliged to do so by law, or in the event that it is necessary to pursue the purposes described above.

    Data processors and transfer of personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA

    When we process your personal data, we may make use of data processors who process information on our behalf and according to instructions from us. Such data processors will be subject to confidentiality and obligations to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures that comply with legislation.

    We enter into written data processing agreements with all data processors who process personal data on our behalf.

    We do not transfer data outside the EU/EEA.

    Your rights

    When we process your personal data, you have the following rights which entitle you to

    • request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data
    • have the processing of your information restricted
    • object to the processing (e.g. in relation to the processing of personal data for use in direct marketing)
    • withdraw a given consent to the processing of your data by writing to support@realtimelca.com (the withdrawal does not affect the legality of the processing carried out before the withdrawal of your consent)
    • request to receive the information you have provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (data portability)
    • submit a complaint about our processing of your personal data to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (read more about lodging a complaint here: Danish Data Protection Authority)

    The above-mentioned rights may be subject to restrictions or conditions, such that, for example, you do not have the right to deletion etc. in all cases.
